The granny stitch is one of those comforting rhythms that I always come back to. The simple repeat makes it perfect for evenings when I want to unwind, but still feel like I’m creating something special. The texture is soft and balanced, making it ideal for blankets, scarves, or even cozy shawls.
It’s also a fantastic stitch for beginners easy to learn but endlessly versatile. I havent used this stitch but I wanted to share some blankets with you where I used this stitch, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite “meditation stitches.”
If you’re working on a granny stitch project, keep a warm drink nearby and crochet slowly let it be less about speed and more about settling into the rhythm.
